And We Keep On Strutting

Hot on the heels of their recent top 20 UK album, “Pretty Vicious”, which was released only months ago, platinum-selling rock band The Struts are back with yet another great new song. In the words of Lead singer Luke Spiller :

“‘How Can I Love You (Without Breaking Your Heart)’ is a brutally honest song that takes me right back to that moment when the phrase came to me. It has a Rod Stewart vibe to it, which is definitely something we haven’t done before. I also adore the backing vocal section, which has a Fleetwood Mac feel that’s never a bad thing. The lyric was laboured over for a long time, which I hope people will appreciate.”

Pretty Vicious, Pretty Glam

The brand new album, “Pretty Vicious”, from British rockers “The Struts” has just been released. It is the band’s fourth studio album and was preceded by the single “Too Good at Raising Hell.” The previous three albums, as well as singles like “Could Have Been Me” and “Somebody New” have had some of us wondering why oh why The Struts haven’t hit the big time yet.

Stick to What You’re Good at.

It’s been about a decade since British band “The Struts” first appeared on the music scene. With songs including “Tattler Magazine”, “Low Key In Love” and “Somebody New” they certainly haven’t been strangers to RadiJohan in recent years.

Their latest single, Too Good at Raising Hell, “was written about the disenchantment I felt after having a little too much fun”, lead singer Luke Spiller stated. He continued:

However, it still captures the essence of living an excessive life and all of the glorious moments that come along with it. It’s the perfect song to get the party started, and it’s a brilliant introduction of what’s to come. The track is still a lot of what The Struts are known for, but it’s a new sound everyone’s been waiting to hear from us.”

Return of The Struts

“The Struts” are a British rock band formed in 2012. They have been described as “unabashedly over the top retro-fetishist classic rock” and “glamorous and dangerous”. Their new single is their first since their 2021 non-album single “Low Key in Love” that featured a guest vocal by Paris Jackson. It’s an upbeat tribute to one of rock’n’roll’s spiritual homes, Sunset Strip in Los Angeles called Fallin’ With Me and it’s new this week on RadiJohan.
