Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986 and started out playing covers before developing their own sound. They experienced mainstream success following the 1995 release of their breakthrough single, “Name.” A number of successful singles and albums followed, particularly in the USA and Canada. English musician, songwriter and record producer Alan Parsons has released his new studio album “From The New World.” As a producer Parsons has been involved with many artists including The Beatles, The Hollies, Wings and Pink Floyd, just to name a few. Between 1975 and 1990 “The Alan Parsons Project” released eleven studio albums with some of their most notable songs including “I Wouln’t Want To Be Like You,” “Eye In The Sky” and “Don’t Answer Me.” The new single features co-founder of rock band “Ambrosia,” David Pack, and blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa. “I Won’t Be Lead Astray” is new this week on RadiJohan.
Without notice Eric Clapton has released a new song. He released the track unexpectedly without any previous press or further explanation around the song. Visions of Atlantis are an Austrian metal band that have been on the scene for 22 years. They are possibly the only band in existence whose drummer is the sole remaining original member. With many musicians coming and going over the years the band have gone through plenty of changes but, through the changes, have always retained the dual male/female lead. In May the band released their 8th album “Pirates” which has received many positive reviews.
