{"id":2279,"date":"2022-12-24T09:23:36","date_gmt":"2022-12-23T20:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.radijohan.com\/?p=2279"},"modified":"2022-12-24T09:25:37","modified_gmt":"2022-12-23T20:25:37","slug":"a-brief-introduction-to-maria-mena","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.radijohan.com\/?p=2279","title":{"rendered":"A Brief Introduction to Maria Mena"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Arguably a much underrated artist, Maria Mena is a Norwegian singer named after the character &#8220;Maria&#8221; in Leonard Bernstein&#8217;s&nbsp;<em>West Side Story<\/em>.&nbsp;Her father played in several bands in&nbsp;Oslo, which influenced her to write and record her own music.To date she has released seven studio albums.&nbsp;Internationally she is best known for songs like <em>You&#8217;re the Only One<\/em>, <em>Just Hold Me<\/em> and <em>All This Time<\/em> which charted in multiple countries. Earlier this year Maria auditioned for a role in the Norwegian TV series&nbsp;<em>Ettergl\u00f8d<\/em>&nbsp;(<em>Afterglow<\/em>). She was not cast but offered to record a song for the soundtrack.
